So I haven't updated Bailey's Blog since Biggs died back in June! All summer long Bailey went to daycare Tues-Fri, and we spent Monday's together doing adventures. We discovered Lollipop farms, which he loved. I took this picture of an emu which has been my desktop background all Fall Quarter. Lollipop Farm
Mom, That goat's got Devil Eyes... Around this time Bailey was just starting to learn some of his body parts. Where is your ear? He points to his ear. Where is your eye? He points to his eye. Then, invariably, where is your nose? He sticks his finger UP his nose!
Here's my nose! Camping at Letchworth; Trip #1 We went camping twice this summer at Letchworth with Bailey. Miraculously, he slept in the camper! On the first trip I put him in the pack-n-play and had to shake it for about 10 minutes for him to sleep. By the second camping trip he slept on the little fold down bed all by himself!
The camper spent the entire winter popped up and open in our backyard....snow sat on top of it, then melted off in spring. We had sort of given up on the old camper after it's year-long siesta in the backyard. One day in June I got a burst of energy. I cleaned it up, popped it down, got a hitch put on the minivan, and got the sucker inspected at Brad's Trailer Supply. Putting up the Christmas tree this year we were happy to answer No! to the question posed in the little time capsule ornament from Christmas 2005....Is the camper still up?

I thought this was the cutest picture....Bailey's camping feet at the picnic table with a hungry dog nosing around beneath him. June 2006; Happy Time in a Toy Box Bailey has realized that he can completely climb into the little toybox all by himself. I love this picture, he is having the best time!
